The Complete Gift
Botanistix has partnered with a SW Florida orchid grower to offer some less common orchids to you. 'The Complete Gift' will include a special pot and a coordinating Botanistix to compliment the unique orchid. In the colder months, we will use a Thermacare-like warming blanket to help it arrive in good condition. During extreme conditions of cold or heat, we will not ship.The current selection is Red Cat. It is a Phalaenoposis which is considered a beginner's orchid due to the ease of care. The 'Phals' as they are referred to, can bloom again on the same stem after the blooms are finished, if the stem remains green. You only cut the stem if it has died back, not if it is green. As an added benefit, while the plant is trying to rebloom the Botanistix stake gives you something pretty to look at. Red Cat can be shipped now in spike and will bloom in January.
The pot selection is the smokey silver with the double bird detail or the silver detail on the front. The pots have many crevices which have been rubbed with silver & gold dry pigment paints and are very pretty.
